As part of the SPE Petroleum Economics Symposium hosted by Aramco, over 45 young professionals came together for a two-day immersive experience designed to deepen their understanding of financial concepts and tackle real-world energy challenges.
Day 1 featured an engaging workshop focused on the financial fundamentals shaping the future of energy economics, equipping participants with tools to analyze investment strategies and value creation in a shifting energy landscape.
Day 2 shifted to a dynamic Shark Tank-style competition, where 9 teams pitched innovative solutions across three challenge areas: Geothermal energy, Decarbonization, and Digitalization. Their ideas were judged by a panel of industry leaders, culminating in an exciting awards ceremony during the closing session.
These activities marked a milestone in empowering the next generation of energy leaders with the knowledge, creativity, and confidence to shape the future.
