With over 250 visitors in attendance, the event highlighted the talent of more than 25 exceptional individuals with disabilities, providing them with an opportunity to showcase and sell their creative works, transforming their skills into tangible economic empowerment.

In partnership with five charitable societies, the event served as a vital platform for fostering inclusivity and amplifying the voices of talented individuals. Driven by the support of 20+ volunteers, the event delivered a seamless and impactful experience, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and dedication in bringing ambitious initiatives to life.

NMO Roundtable Discussion: Mastering Financial Growth

The NMO Roundtable Session, “Mastering Financial Growth,” marked the fourth successful event in the NMO series organized by the SPE-KSA Technical and Professional Programs Committee. Conducted in Arabic, the session welcomed 95 attendees in a unique outdoor setting, creating a vibrant atmosphere that encouraged active engagement and meaningful contributions. This insightful event featured an esteemed panel of speakers, including Saad Al Abdulhadi, Treasury Manager at SABIC; Fatemah Almubarak, Senior Accounting Analyst at Saudi Aramco; and Luay Abualshamat, Senior Financial Advisor at The Family Office Co., moderated by Abdulraof Almulhim, Supervisor at Saudi Aramco. The discussion covered essential financial topics such as mastering the basics of financial management, building critical skills, crafting strategic financial plans, and exploring the importance of diversification. The interactive format and outdoor setting made the event highly memorable, leaving a lasting impact on attendees. Financial Acumen for Engineers by YP & Aramco Business School

On December 22nd, the SPE-KSA Young Professionals Committee hosted a workshop on Financial Acumen for Engineers in collaboration with the Aramco Business School. The session aimed to bridge the gap between engineering and finance, empowering 29 young professionals with essential financial knowledge to enhance their decision-making and strategic thinking.

Participants explored key financial concepts tailored for engineering professionals, gaining insights into linking technical projects with financial performance and driving value in their roles. This impactful workshop demonstrated the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration, providing attendees with tools to broaden their expertise and contribute more effectively to their organizations.

الجلسة الحوارية لمبادرة ذرّة مع أ. عبدالله جمعة، الرئيس السابق لشركة أرامكو السعودية

تشرفت مبادرة ذرّة تحت مظلة مهندسي البترول – فرع المملكة العربية السعودية بعقد جلسة حوارية مميزة بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للغة العربية، الذي يصادف 18 ديسمبر. استضافت الجلسة الأستاذ عبدالله جمعة، رئيس أرامكو السعودية السابق، وحاورته الدكتورة أمجاد القحطاني، الرئيس والمؤسس لذرّة، بحضور تجاوز 400 مشارك.

تناولت الجلسة أهمية اللغة العربية كجسر يربط الماضي بالحاضر وكأساسٍ للهوية الثقافية والإبداع الفكري، إلى جانب تسليط الضوء على القيادة وقيم التراث. وأضاف الأستاذ عبدالله جمعة بُعدًا مميزًا عبر استعراضه لقصصه الشخصية وتجارب غنية من مسيرته المهنية، مقدماً دروساً ذات أثر عميق في القيادة والرؤية.

Young Professionals Visit to an Offshore Rig in IMI’s Shipyard in Ras Alkhair

The SPE-KSA Young Professionals Committee, in collaboration with Saudi Aramco Drilling and Workover (D&WO) and IMI, recently organized its first offshore rig visit at IMI’s shipyard in Ras Al-Khair. The visit featured a COSL offshore rig, offering 20 young professionals from three different Admin Areas within Saudi Aramco and two service companies a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to offshore operations.

Participants explored the technical and operational aspects of the COSL rig and interacted with the crew, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. This experience provided valuable insights into offshore drilling operations, equipping participants with practical skills and a deeper understanding of industry challenges.
